It was a project was to pick a song that had a music video and make a music video of your own. The challenge was to not watch the music already for it and completely make your own.

In ScribbleHead the player must move from the left side of the map to the right side in order to proceed. Each level is made up of a series of discrete yet interconnected puzzles and challenges that incorporate two main mechanics for the player to use.

The first allows the character to draw himself onto chalkboards to avoid the enemies and obstacles that inhabit the '3D' foreground, while the second allows the character to leave a rough sketch of himself behind which he can then teleport back to at any time by erasing himself.

ScribbleHead can't jump, so you'll have to use timing and strategy to overcome each puzzle. Good luck!

Absolutely loved the concept and game although I wasn't able to complete the pencil puzzles. I don't know if I missed something or my timing was just off. Regardless I loved it :)

Your final submission will consist of three parts.

  • An executable version of your game
  • A PDF version of your poster
  • A narrated gameplay video

Executable Version of Your Game

Create a build of your game for the Macintosh. To build in Unity, select 'File->Build Settings'. Under target platform, select 'Mac OS X'. Then click the 'Build' button.

If it is not obvious how to play (e.g., the player needs to know keyboard shortcuts), provide a very brief document with instructions.
